2016 Shiraz Dual Citizen
Halliday 95 points
Crafted at one of the districts oldest wineries and displaying elegant tannins, refined plum and dark cherry fruits, the Dual Citizen Shiraz – with fruit from Hilltops as well as Murrumbateman – is ineligible for election in the Canberra Wine Parliament. Unlike our pollies though the Dual Citizen Shiraz is aware of its origins and declares its multidistrict roots with pride. If granted a high court exemption, in twelve years time this wine may just be Prime Minister.
Our full bodied 2016 Dual Citizen Shiraz displays delicious blackberry, plum and dark cherry fruits, with black pepper and elegnt tannins.
