  • Shiraz and Shielas, 7-9pm Thursday 10 May $30pp
To kick off the inaugral Makers of Murrumbateman's Wine, Women and Song festival Murrumbateman Winery is hosting Shiraz and Shielas from 7-9pm.
Our region is well known for crafting award winning (and delicious) Shiraz! At this fabulous Thursday evening event owner and winemaker Bobbie Makin will guide you through Murrumbateman Winery’s Shiraz craftings from 2012 to 2017, served with matching canapés. Wines will include our famous Shiraz Rosés, deliciously light and spicy “Old Block” Shiraz, full bodied 2014 vintage, our cheekily named 2016 "Dual Citizen", as well as sentimental reserve wines 2012 Eli Shiraz and 2015 Leela Shiraz, named after Bobbie's nephew and niece.
  • Bottle your own Merlot, 3pm 11-12 May $99pp
Join owner and winemaker Bobbie for an intimate experience in our boutique winery. Learn about wine bottling, have a go using the equipment and finish your experience with labelling, wine tasting and nibbles in the cellar door, before taking home two personalised bottles.
  • Howling in the Vines (dog day), 10-5pm 13 May Free
Our wine dogs Mollie and Tannin invite their four legged friends to bring their two-legged mums and families to Murrumbateman Winery this Monther's Day. Sure to be a howling good time, this day will include live music, picnics, runs in the vines and swims in the dam.
